Have you ever been in a situation where you need go know the inode count on your hosting.
Most probably inode limit is only in case of shared hosting environments so if you are hosting your website in a shared environment then you might be having inode limit and to view the total distribution of inodes we will discuss the commands that you can enter in the terminal and after that you will be able to see the detailed inode usage for your hosting account.
1.First of all Just Login to CPanel account and there Go to terminal and open it.
2. in the terminal you need to enter a command that is
echo "Detailed Inodes usage for: $(pwd)" ; for d in
find -maxdepth 1 -type d |cut -d\/ -f2 |grep -xv . |sort; do c=$(find $d |wc -l) ; printf "$c\t\t- $d\n" ; done ; printf "Total: \t\t$(find $(pwd) | wc -l)\n"
Paste this command using paste (if ctrl+ v don’t work then try using the mouse to paste it ).
Once you enter the command then the Linux system will send you output about this where you will see detailed inode usage for you Hosting account.
It should be like
Detailed Inodes usage for: /home/zamenet
6627 - mail
131 - perl5
332 - public_ftp
1143234 - public_html
12829 - quarantine
19282 - restore
329 - ssl
2063 - tmp
This way you can easily the inode usage.
