Hi there Have you been looking for a guide that can help you to setup firebase sdk to your android app then your search ends here because in this article i have explained in details about how you can setup fireabse SDK into your flutter/Kotlin or Java application.
First you need to go to firebase.google.com and then login there with your respective email account.
Then just follow the below steps and everything will be setup for your app within 5minutes.
1.On the first screen you will be asked to enter basic details inside the firebase panel like entering your app package name etc
2.Then on the next step you will be prompted to download a Google services .json file.
This file contains the configuration details of your firebase app and it’s project related details.
Make sure that you keep a copy of this file securely with you as there are some Details in this file which can be very useful in later times of the app development.
3.After you have successfully downloaded this file next you should head over to the Android studio and search for the project level Google services .Json file and replace that file with this one or other thing you can do is open the downloaded file with notepad and copy the Text and then paste it completely in the Android studio’s file(make sure to delete what is written first in the file)
4.Now you have finished setting up and finally Google will automatically detect whether your app has been successfully connected to their servers.
To verify this you just need to open your app in a virtual emulator or open it on a real device.Any it these methods will work.
After all of the four steps have been completed you are good to go and your app is now connected to Google firebase and now you can start using firebase services by using their respective dependencies in your app.
Thanks a lot!
